The League One clash between Leyton Orient and Lincoln was abruptly terminated after 82 minutes due to a medical emergency involving a spectator.

During the match, an individual from the crowd entered the pitch, urgently seeking the attention of referee Stephen Martin. The reason for this intrusion was to alert officials to a fellow spectator in the East Stand who required immediate medical assistance.

Following this interruption, the game briefly resumed for less than a minute. However, approximately 20 fans seated in the home end chose to sit down on the pitch, signaling to the referee about the ongoing medical crisis. Consequently, the match was halted once again.

Paramedics rushed to the scene, administering CPR to the distressed individual on the sidelines, prompting the referee to take both teams off the field as a safety precaution.

Approximately an hour after the initial interruption, it was decided to abandon the match. As spectators vacated the stadium, medical personnel continued to provide care to the patient.
